We have all taken care of friends, family or the neighbor’s pet. Maybe you have asked friends or family to take care of your fur family in your absence. Some people would rather not impose on the on their friends or family and some would not have it anyother way. Usually our furry friends will know them too. Most friends and family don’t really take it as serious as a professional pet sitter will and don’t think anything of it. Having friends, neighbors or family do a service for you always runs a risk of compromising the relationship. As a pet sitter I am wanting to accomodate you and your fur family that is the job I get paid to do and I have kept the rates very affordable as well. I will show up as close to scheldule as I can and not just when I get around to it. I will feed them the way you instruck me too being careful to keep the diet the same and not give them extra incase I have something else to do like some friends or family may. Will your pet enjoy staying at home where they are comfortable in their own environment or a boarding facility with many other roommates. This question seems obvious to me and is the reason I decided to start pet sitting and share the love I have for animals. When I was younger a friend of mine worked for a veterinarian/boarding facility and it did keep them safe but they seemed so desperate. They all barked like they were saying help, help, please help, it was heart breaking to see them so sad. It was clean and that was the only time they got out of the little wire cage was when it was being cleaned. They didn’t get to go for a walk or play and the people that worked there were just doing a job. It was so loud in there with all of the dogs barking as loud as they could it was ear piercing and the poor cats were beside themselves too crying out for help so sad. I was told the dogs couldn’t get out and play together because they could fight and get hurt.

As a pet sitter I come to your home were your pets are safe, secure and at ease in the comfort of their own home. I try to keep the routine for them as close to what they are use to as possible I even offer over night care if that is what you prefer. You also have to have peace of mind knowing your getting what you are paying for and the pet sitter is actually showing up and doing what they agreed to do in the first place. The pet sitter can offer skype or text pictures of your pets while they are there. Then there is the idea that your best interest is your pet sitters best interest. I call all of this the Gold Rule and I do believe we all have to do what we can withing reason to treat people right.
